Story
Dear Friends and Community,
With heavy hearts, we share the sorrowful news of the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Ethirajulu (Ethi) Venugopal, on May 22, 2025, following a brave three-month struggle after a cardiac arrest. This heartbreaking loss has deeply affected his wife, Freeda (Rosy), and daughter, Amritha, who now face the profound challenge of mourning while also navigating the financial burdens that often accompany such a tragedy.
As we unite to support Ethi’s family, our hope is to ease some of the financial burdens they face—covering funeral expenses, medical bills, Amritha’s education, and any unexpected costs that may arise during this challenging time.
Everyone who knew Ethi remembers him as a humble, kind-hearted soul—always wearing a warm smile and ever willing to lend a helping hand. He was a pillar of our community, consistently leading and supporting charitable efforts and local events. To his family and colleagues who knew him best, Ethi stood out for his remarkable calmness and composure, even in the face of the most challenging situations.
Ethi was committed to a healthy lifestyle. He walked daily and paid close attention to his eating habits. His warmth and gentle nature touched everyone around him and will be deeply missed.
In this difficult time, we are reaching out to our community, friends, and compassionate individuals to assist Ethi’s family as he was the sole breadwinner for the family.
Please consider giving generously and sharing this page with others who may wish to help. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference. Thank you for your compassion, generosity, and support during this heartbreaking time.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Ethi Friends & Well-wishers
